Google released Android 11 on September 8, 2020, with many new features. Samsung is also working on its One UI 3, which will also be based on Android 11. Still, Samsung has not announced any official information on the rollout dates for its devices, but Samsung phones already have these six similar features of Android 11.

However, last month, Samsung begins its One UI 3.0 beta program for the developers and now the company has finally begun to roll out the first developer beta for the developers.

READ MORE: Here’s the list of eligible Samsung devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11

1. Bubble notifications

Samsung phones work in a similar way like an Android 11 displays a popup when taking a screenshot – it appears below the toolbar in a few seconds. But the Samsung One UI still keeps capture as a notification, so you can delete it later. Scrolling screenshots are going to implement a feature in Android 11.

2. Smart home controls

The Samsung One UI also has a control panel to access smart home devices same as the Google, but Samsung has a ‘Tools’ button at the bottom of the quick settings bar. Not very comfortable, but much less than opening Google home apps.

3. Connecting to WiFi again

Android 11 has introduced a new option which is a minor feature, but noticeable to prevent you from automatically reconnecting to specific WiFi networks. Other manufacturers have implemented similar configurations on their phones.

4. Screen recorder

Samsung has unveiled a built-in screen recorder for Android 11 which can record your phone’s internal audios, video and includes information such as passwords, payment details, photos, and messages without using any third-party applications.

5. Screenshot popup

When taking a screenshot on Samsung phones works in a similar way like an Android 11 and displays a popup when taking a screenshot. It appears below the toolbar in a few seconds and also shows a notification, so you should delete it later.

6. Dark theme scheduling

Samsung has the option to schedule dark mode from One UI 1.0 based on Android 9, the dark theme uses a black background to help keep your battery alive longer. Dark theme scheduling wait to turn on until your screen is off. It didn’t help much at the time as non-Samsung apps still support the company’s pre-standard dark theme, but it works well on UI 2.0 (Android 10).
