Samsung shares imaging patent with DALLGOO to improve emergency care
Samsung has shared its imaging technology patent with DALLGOO, an emergency medical AI company, to help improve video quality and AI performance in emergency care. DALLGOO has been selected for the 2026 Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy–Samsung Electronics Technology Sharing Program.
The acquired patent, titled “Digital Imaging Device and Method Thereof,” focuses on technology that reduces blurry images caused by camera shaking or movement. This can be especially useful in ambulances and emergency rooms, where doctors and paramedics often work in busy and challenging situations.
DALLGOO plans to combine Samsung’s technology with its AI solutions to capture clearer videos and help AI understand emergency situations more accurately. The improved technology could also support medical records, training and treatment evaluation.
The company offers two main solutions. ABC Copilot AI uses smart glasses to help medical staff check a patient’s airway, breathing and circulation during emergencies. Its Smart Ambulance Integrated Platform connects medical devices and patient information in one system, allowing medical teams to access important data easily.
DALLGOO CEO Park Si-eun said, “The golden hour starts with connection.” She highlighted the importance of connecting medical devices, patient data and clear video footage to help AI better understand emergency situations.
The company is also working on an R&D project under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ public-private joint technology commercialization program.
By combining Samsung’s imaging technology with its emergency medical AI solutions, DALLGOO aims to support doctors and paramedics in providing better care, from ambulance transport to hospital treatment.
