Samsung releases One UI 9 Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 8 [Signup Guide]
Samsung has started the One UI 9 Watch 8 Beta program for the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic in South Korea. The beta registration notice, published through Samsung Members, confirms that the program is currently limited to Korean users.
The screenshot also states that users must update the Samsung Members app to its latest version before entering the beta program.
Once updated, eligible users can access the beta program from the app’s home screen.
How to join the One UI 9 Watch Beta
To register, Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic owners in South Korea should first update the Samsung Members app. They can then open the app, sign in with their Samsung Account, and look for the One UI 9 Watch beta program banner or Beta section.
After enrollment, the beta firmware can be checked through the watch’s software update settings. Samsung distributes beta software to enrolled participants gradually, so registration does not necessarily mean the update will appear immediately.
One UI 9 Watch is based on Wear OS 7 and represents Samsung’s next major software update for compatible Galaxy Watches.
The One UI 9 Watch 8 Beta is currently a South Korea-only program based on the available registration notice. Samsung has not confirmed broader availability in other markets.
