Galaxy S26 series received the One UI 9 Beta 6 update in August 2026. The firmware also brings August 2026 security improvements. The inclusion of Red tint patch is assumed, but Samsung’s changelog mentioned nothing.

Samsung pushed the fifth Beta on August 12 after a long 4-week gap from the fourth Beta. However, the sixth Beta hasn’t taken much time to arrive. The latest ZZHC/E builds landed in just two days after the previous rollout.

One UI 9 Beta 6 Changelog:

1. Improved display error of Now Brief widget
2. Improved display error of Home screen
3. Improved issue where display error occurs for camera widget in specific paths
4. Improved issue where images are saved differently at specific focal lengths when shooting with Expert RAW 24MP

Samsung did not confirm the rollout of Red tint patch in Beta firmware. The improvements are officially confirmed to be included in the One UI 8.5-based update coming after ZH3 build, which could be August 2026 release.

Some Galaxy S26 Ultra users reported having a display problem where a rectangular reddish tint appears in certain environments. It mostly occurs when the device is being used outdoors or in direct sunlight exposure.

The Korean tech giant did launch an investigation and found that there’s no hardware defect. The problem is occurring because of an error in color calibration. The fix is being provided at service centers, and an OTA is also coming.
