Samsung One UI 9.0 Beta 5 took a month to arrive, bringing these changes to Galaxy S26 users
Samsung has officially begun rolling out One UI 9.0 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S26 series today, and it’s the update fans have been waiting for about a month.
After a stretch that ran longer than expected since Beta 4, the fifth build is now live for enrolled testers, starting with the South Korean community branch before it expands further.
It’s been around four weeks since Beta 4 landed, and Samsung utilized the extra time in final reviews and quality improvements. Last week, the company even issued an apology to testers for the longer gap between builds.

Rollout details
The update is rolling out in phases. South Korea gets it first, with OTA availability expanding to enrolled Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra users across the US, UK, Germany, Poland, and India in the hours that follow.
With stable One UI 9 already live on the Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8 series, this Beta round looks like one of the last steps before the S26 lineup gets its own stable release.
