Samsung preloads Amazon Music on future Galaxy devices
Samsung is making it easier for Galaxy devices to access Amazon Music through a new global partnership that brings the streaming service directly into the Galaxy ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, the Amazon Music app is now available on the Galaxy Store and will come preinstalled on millions of select Samsung smartphones and tablets worldwide.
To celebrate the launch, Samsung and Amazon Music are offering a limited-time perk for new Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers.
Galaxy users who download the app from the Galaxy Store, or receive it preinstalled on eligible devices, can claim three months of Amazon Music Unlimited at no extra cost.
Amazon Music Unlimited gives subscribers access to more than 100 million songs without ads, along with podcasts, curated playlists, artist livestreams, and merchandise.
The service also includes HD, Ultra HD, and Spatial Audio streaming, while users in supported regions can redeem one Audible audiobook each month as part of their subscription.
Amazon Music’s arrival on the Galaxy Store, combined with preinstallation on eligible devices, means users can start listening to music, podcasts, and other content as soon as they set up their new Galaxy device.
The Amazon Music app is available on the Galaxy Store starting today, while the three-month Amazon Music Unlimited offer is available for a limited time for eligible new subscribers.
