Samsung refreshes Clock, Calendar, Reminder and Edge Lighting+ apps: Here’s what’s new

June 2026 is going on, and Samsung has pushed a new updates for its three apps – Samsung Calendar, Clock, Reminder, and Edge Lighting+. The update brings minor but useful improvements to make the apps smoother and more reliable in daily use.

The latest update of the Samsung Clock app brings improvements to some functions to provide a better Galaxy experience. It also makes devices more stable, as the latest stabilization is applied.

Also, Samsung Calendar has received version 12.8.00.28, which mainly fixes minor bugs and improves overall performance. Users may notice smoother navigation while adding or viewing events, along with fewer crashes during normal use.

Moreover, Samsung Reminder has been updated to version 12.8.00.25. This update improves reliability and fixes some issues. Reminders and notifications now work more properly, helping users stay on track without missing important alerts or tasks.

Most importantly, Edge Lighting+ version 9.0.00.4 brings fixes for UI issues, mainly problems related to screen rotation. It also improves overall stability to make edge lighting effects smoother and more consistent when notifications appear.

These updates have been spotted on the Galaxy S26 Ultra running One UI 9 Beta (via @smasithick). It is not confirmed whether it will be available to all users.

To install them, users can open the Galaxy Store, search for each app, and update to the latest version if available. Keeping apps updated ensures better performance and fewer bugs during the beta experience.
