Samsung is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated 2025 Galaxy S series FE model and Galaxy Tab S series tablets. Ahead of the official unveiling, press renders of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy S25 FE have been leaked by well-known tipster @evleaks on X, giving fans a detailed preview of the upcoming devices.

The Galaxy S25 FE render shows a polished and elegant design in a whitish color shade, featuring a sleek linear camera layout similar to its predecessor. However, the camera rings are now cleaner and more defined, offering a sharper appearance.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 FE also seems to offer a higher screen-to-body ratio than the Galaxy S24 FE. It enhances its visual appeal with a more immersive display.

On the other side, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sports a modern, minimalist design. The leaked renders highlight both the front and back of the device, revealing support for the S Pen.

Unlike the Tab S10 Ultra, which featured a vertical camera layout with a prominent strip for the S Pen, the S11 Ultra opts for a simpler approach. It retains the dual-camera setup, but with larger rings placed closer together and without the extended strip for a cleaner back panel.

With these updated designs, Samsung seems to focus on delivering a more refined and premium experience across both the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra. The official launch is expected soon.

Samsung is getting ready to launch a new budget 5G smartphone of the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A17 5G. Ahead of the official launch, the company has teased the Galaxy A17 smartphone on Samsung’s website.

Although the company hasn’t announced it officially, the Galaxy A17 5G has reportedly appeared on Samsung’s support pages in some countries, including the UK and Switzerland. This is a big hint that the launch could happen soon.

However, the support pages do not provide any specific information about the phone’s features or specifications. They simply confirm that the Galaxy A17 5G has been officially listed on Samsung’s website with the model number SM-A176B.

This upcoming Galaxy A series phone has already passed several certification tests, including the FCC in the US, BIS in India, and SGS in Finland. These certifications are another sign that the phone may launch very soon.

Aside from this, the company is reportedly working on bringing Optical Image Stabilization (Hybrid OIS) to the Galaxy A17 smartphone. OIS parts are expensive, around three times more than regular motors in the Galaxy A16. To keep the Galaxy A17 affordable, Samsung may use “Hybrid OIS,” which uses springs to lower costs by 20%. This smart change helps improve camera quality without making the phone too expensive.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series, Z Fold 7, and Z Flip 7 support Qi2 wireless charging. It’s a Qi2-ready feature that requires a special case to be used, as the phones don’t feature Qi2 magnets inside. Meanwhile, Samsung is seeking user feedback regarding Qi2 charging through an online survey to pack future Galaxy devices with built-in magnets.

As spotted by SammyGuru, Samsung is running a survey regarding the integration of Qi2 magnets inside future Galaxy phones. Adoption of a magnet inside would result in a thicker design, and one of Samsung’s questions includes it as well.

With 2025 flagships, Samsung unlocked Qi2 charging that requires a magnet-packed case. It’s the same move as other Android vendors like OnePlus and HMD that are selling Qi2-ready phones without fitting magnets beneath.

Beyond that, two questions hint that Samsung might also be exploring the possibility of going all wireless in future Galaxy devices. After the 3.5mm audio jack, the USB Type-C port could be the next to say goodbye to smartphones.

Samsung’s wireless charging isn’t as fast as the wired solution. Also, going all wireless such easily isn’t likely in Galaxy devices. The company may improve Qi2 support first before thinking about killing the legacy wired charging solution.

Samsung’s new foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7, are estimated to break pre-order and sales records in South Korea. Design refinements, hardware upgrades, new OS, and Galaxy AI features are apparently working for Samsung in its home turf.

Back in 2023, Samsung sold 1.02 million units of the Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 (combined) during the Korean pre-orders alone. Consumer interest toward the Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 is very high, as over 160,000 registrations have been made for just notifications.

As pre-orders start, the practical response will be seen from today. We expect the company to drop preliminary pre-order numbers by the end of this week and a final response record at the time when the official release is about to take place.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 ensures portability, and the S25 Edge aims at a sleeker design. Both have their own design advantages. Meanwhile, both lag when it comes to battery capacity and charging speed as compared to the cheaper S25 FE.
