Breaking: Samsung rolls out One UI 7 May 2025 update to Galaxy S25 in the US

Samsung has just dropped the One UI 7-based May 2025 security update for the Galaxy S25 series in the US. The rollout is taking place for carrier-locked models in the country and comes as a shocking development in tow.
Recent developments have suggested that the company is testing a major firmware update for the flagship lineup. However, the build has been changed significantly, turning it into just a regular security update for the devices.
It seems Samsung has reserved those enhancements for a future release. Users of the Galaxy S25 series may receive a big upgrade in June 2025. Meanwhile, the latest May 2025 security patch is worth installing on your Galaxy (via SamMobile).

Samsung rolls out new update for Galaxy Watch 5, 5 Pro, and FE

Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and Galaxy Watch FE in Europe. The fresh update installs the March 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability.
The fresh update for the Bluetooth variants of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro comes with firmware version ending with CYCD. On the other hand, the update arrives on Galaxy Watch FE with firmware version ending with BYCD.
Along with the new security patch, the update also brings some improvements to the overall stability of the watches. Samsung hasn’t shared many details on exactly what’s improved, but it’s clear that the update is meant to make the watches work better and more securely.
At the moment, the update is available now for Bluetooth models of the Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, and Watch FE.
