One UI 7 AOD notification settings

Samsung has released a new update for its Always On Display (AOD) app with version 8.8.43.2. The update comes with a few helpful bug fixes that will make the app work better for users.

Always On Display is a useful feature that shows the time, date, battery level, and other information on the screen even when your phone is locked. This makes it easy to quickly check your phone without having to turn it on fully. The fresh update makes the app better by fixing bugs, spotted by a reliable tipster @Theordysm.

With the latest update, Samsung has fixed an issue related to the Nowbar Naver Sports feature. Some users were facing errors while using it with AOD, but this issue has now been fixed, so everything should run smoothly.

Moreover, the clock settings on the cover screen have also been improved. This is especially helpful for people using foldable phones. Before, there were some errors in clock settings on the small front screen, but Samsung has now solved this.

Also, the update has an issue with widgets. Sometimes, when users selected a theme for AOD, the widgets like weather or music controls didn’t appear in the right place. This update corrects that, so the layout looks neat and works properly.

While the Samsung Always On Display 8.8.43.2 update doesn’t add any new features, it helps make the app more stable and user-friendly. The update is being released gradually, so if you haven’t seen it yet, it should be available soon.

Samsung NotiStar One UI 7 app

Samsung has released a new update for its NotiStar app with version 7.0.17.0. The update includes an important fix that will improve how the app works for many users.

The fresh update fixes a problem where notification permissions would reset every time the phone was restarted. This meant users might not receive notifications properly after a reboot.

With the new update, the notification issue has been resolved. Now, your notification settings will stay the same, even if you restart your device.

NotiStar is a Samsung’s Good Lock module for notification customization of apps. It helps users manage their notifications more effectively. The app lets you keep track of past notifications, search through them, and filter them by apps or keywords.

Update Samsung’s software utility app to avoid One UI 7 download issue

Samsung Marc 2025 security patch fixes

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 update to eligible devices, and some users are facing issues downloading the update. Device restart is addressing the problem for some, but you should also update Samsung’s software utility app.

Earlier this week, Samsung released a new version of its Software Update App. Samsung’s software utility app is responsible for updating the firmware on Galaxy devices. The app’s latest version is 4.3.27, which was dropped on April 21.

Samsung Software Update is a core app that typically doesn’t require a manual update or installation. Your Galaxy device keeps it updated to the latest official version over time, but it might extend your wait if the One UI 7 download gets stuck.

One UI 7 update introduces smooth animations, redesigned app icons, a dynamic user interface, revamped Quick Settings, and Notification Panel. Galaxy users also get new and useful features, as well as upgraded Galaxy AI tools.

Some users faced issues with downloading the OTA update. It might have been caused because of server overload as the rollout was just expanded to India, which is a considerably significant market from volume for Galaxy devices.

Pausing a stuck firmware download and Resuming it after a device Restart worked for many. However, it’s not a bad idea to update your phone’s Samsung Software Update app to the latest official version to ramp up One UI 7 installs.

Samsung Good Lock One UI 7 app

Samsung has released a new update for its Good Lock app after it launched the app in more countries around the world. Good Lock is an amazing app for Samsung phones that lets users change and customize how their phone looks and works.

Before, only people in a few countries could use it, but now it’s available to more users through the Google Play Store. After the global launch, many people noticed that some popular modules in the app were missing or not working.

Samsung quickly noticed the issue of missing modules in the app and has now fixed it to provide a smoother experience. The modules that are now back and working include Home Up, ClickFace, NotiStar, MultiStar, and Display Assistant (Beta).

Now, users of the eligible Galaxy devices can download these modules without any issue. They can now easily find and install modules to use new functions.

At the same time, Samsung has also removed three modules – Galaxy to Share, Dropship, and RegiStar. These were only meant for users in South Korea, and it looks like they were added to the global version by mistake. This means that these modules might not be released globally.

Even though those three are no longer available, most users will be happy to see the main modules working again. Samsung aims to give a better experience to users everywhere with these updates.
