One UI 7.0 Beta 5 – Here is everything new for Galaxy S24 series

Samsung just dropped a nearly stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The new One UI 7.0 Beta 5 release significantly reduces the gap between the Beta Program and Official Rollout for the company’s last year’s flagships.
The fifth Beta update is sequentially expanding to Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US (unlocked and T-Mobile). The update brings a new camera feature and tons of bug fixes, let’s break the changes down.
What’s new in One UI 7.0 Beta 5:
Media Player and Sports by Google Live Notifications
With the first Beta for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, Samsung added a Media Player to the Live Notifications section. Now, the media player activity shows on Notification Panel, Status Bar, Dynamic Pill as well as Lock Screen.
Live Notifications feature now enabled Sports by Google on the Galaxy S24 series. This feature was previously exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series, offering sports scores through Now Bar and Live Notifications at a glance.
Quick Panel Padding
One UI 7 debuts a redesigned Quick Panel that can be separated from the Notification Panel. With newer Beta builds, the company has reduced the padding of Quick Panel elements, which has now returned to a decent appearance.

Better Lock Screen Notifications: Resolved a glitch that affected notification settings on the Lock screen.
Improved Widget Appearance: Corrected a problem where icons looked too small on the Widget Settings screen.
Clearer Visuals: Addressed occasional blurry effects after adjusting widget transparency.
Cleaner Fonts and Images: Fixed overlapping text and image issues for a tidier look.
Refined Quick Action Menu: Adjusted spacing in the Quick Action menu for better usability.
Gallery Edit Button Fix: Solved an intermittent issue where the edit button in the Gallery app wouldn’t work.
Notification History Update: Corrected an error that impacted the Notification History feature.
