One UI 7 Beta Changelog is here for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6
Samsung opened Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. The changelog of One UI 7 highlights all of the biggest changes, and advancements for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 foldable phones.
One UI 7 Beta is available for participants in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US. The big upgrade introduces a revamped user interface for the Samsung foldables, with users expecting more refinements throughout the testing.
Galaxy AI has also added and enhanced features with the One UI 7. US users also finally getting access to native Call Recording feature through Call Transcription. It’s a pretty useful feature that was recently adopted by Apple as well.
Samsung has been running the One UI 7 Beta on Galaxy S24 series since December 2024. The company may have provided the S24’s Beta 4-level firmware as the first Beta to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Web searches for One UI 7 have increased on the internet for the past two months and already surpassed Android 15 and the upcoming version simultaneously in terms of users’ interest.
Android is the world’s largest mobile operating system, making an ecosystem of hundreds of companies, and Samsung has a unique role in popularizing Google’s OS with its vast device range.
In the past five years, Samsung has deepened Android ecosystem’s integration in One UI. For example, it dropped some of the home-grown Google apps and service alternatives to act ‘more’ like an Android.
Despite an Android base, One UI 7 has gained massive popularity, which didn’t happen before, and here we’ll explore the possible reasons for this new development.
New Upgrades
Samsung unveiled One UI 7 with major upgrades in animations, user interface and operational fluency. The software experience is much better than it predecessor, which is captivating for existing smartphone owners.
The beta program started with the Galaxy S24 series, 2024’s flagship phones, which triggered global media coverage about One UI 7 beta. The users were excited about new additions, revealed by early beta testers, generating excitement.
S25
The real One UI 7 hype began with the Galaxy S25 series launch in mid-January. This new flagship was the first to pack with a stable software and a couple of additional features that weren’t even available for beta testers at that time.
This year, Samsung majorly focused its launch event on the software and AI features compared and less on the hardware.
Again, the majority of the media covered the Galaxy S25 series’ software side, making it even more compelling to the previous flagship users.
Rollout delay
One UI 7 is a big update, but its rollout delay is quite unsatisfying. The majority of Galaxy users weren’t aware of the One UI 7 (Android 15) rollout. This release suspense has garnered a mass internet search about eligible devices and release date.
This trend remained the same after the S25 release and picked up pace with every rumor and leak about this software’ release. On March 18, an official press-release finally unraveled Samsung’s April plan for One UI 7, ending this long-standing mystery.
Search Trends
Since early December, I’ve seen tons of online articles about this new update. I also take a look at the Google Trends search volume from December 1, 2024, to March 25, 2025.
It shows that One UI 7’s search volume is on par with Android 15, but its search interest is above both Android versions.
It’s not about competition between Samsung and Google, instead, the search reflects the higher user interest in Samsung’s software technologies.
This is also good for Google in terms of partnership with Samsung and promoting new capabilities such as Gemini and circle to search in Galaxy devices.
Still, Samsung needs to work on its rollout efficiency to delivery software updates on time.

Samsung has pushed the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra devices. The update is currently available in Korea, and the company will soon expand it to more countries.
The new Beta update fixes Home-related issues to provide better Home screen functions. It also improves Bluetooth-related issues that users encountered in the previous beta.
Moreover, it resolves several minor issues that affect the Galaxy Tab S10 series’ performance. Aside from this, the screen ratio adjustment is officially applied as a display.
One UI 7 Beta 2 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra can be identified via One UI build versions ending with ZYC5. Users of these devices will have to download around 1.06 GB package to install the update.
The update does not bring any new features for the Galaxy Tab S10 series, but it enhances some functions for a smoother experience. It installs the March 2025 security patch to improve system security and stability.

Samsung is about to announce the One UI 7 Beta Program for the Galaxy A55. Earlier this month, the company expanded the Beta Program to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, as well as the Galaxy S23 series shortly after.
The official One UI 7 Beta expansion was also confirmed for the Galaxy A55. The company seems to be gearing up to meet the release deadline “within this month.” The recent development brings Beta one step closer to the A55.
Samsung India has published the One UI 7 Beta noticeboard for A55 smartphone users. It’s like teasing the potential launch of the Beta Program. As the community is live on the website, the Beta Program will also be here shortly.
One UI 7 introduces an all-new user interface for Galaxy devices. Samsung has brought select AI features to the Galaxy A55 and A35, so it’s highly likely that the new Awesome Intelligence tricks will also come along with One UI 7.

The Natural Language Search feature on Galaxy S24 series allows you to use normal speech to search in Settings. For example, if you say, “My eyes are feeling tired,” the phone might suggest options like adjusting the brightness or turning on Eye Comfort Shield.
It’s an easy and convenient way to find settings without needing to type or remember exact words. This feature works in several languages, including Korean, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.

Along with the new language search, there are small changes in the Settings search page. The ‘Try searching for’ option now appears at the top of the screen, and below it, you will find your Recent Searches, which used to be at the top.
If you’re a Galaxy S24 user testing the One UI 7 Beta, you can try out these changes and enjoy a more natural way of searching through Settings. Samsung plans to bring this update to more devices in the future, including the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
