Samsung joined the C2PA party with the Galaxy S25 series. The company is working with Adobe, Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, Publicis Groupe, and more to set Content Credentials as the universal standard for digital content provenance.
Committed to responsible mobile AI innovation, Samsung has adopted Content Credentials to foster transparency for content created and edited with generative AI. It would continue to be featured in next-gen flagship Galaxy models.

Recent rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra launching in a bold new “dark” color have been put to rest. Samsung has now confirmed that the claim, which originated from one of their now-deleted X posts, was not planned. Fans hoping for a fresh color will have to settle for the existing options.
The speculation began when multiple publishers reported the potential new color based on Samsung India’s social media tease. The story quickly gained traction, but Samsung’s PR team reached out to clarify that the information was inaccurate, prompting the removal of related posts from official channels.
After further inquiry, we received confirmation from Samsung, stating there’s no new color option in the works for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This isn’t the first time a mix-up has fueled excitement in the tech world, but it underscores the importance of official confirmation.

Samsung held its 56th regular shareholders’ meeting on March 19th at the Suwon Convention Center in Gyeonggi Province, with shareholders, institutional investors, and management in attendance.
Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee, who led the meeting, thanked the shareholders and shared Samsung’s business performance from the previous year. Despite challenges such as tough competition in the semiconductor industry and fast changes in technology, Samsung achieved over 300 trillion won in sales and increased its profits.
In addition, Han mentioned that Samsung’s brand value reached over $100 billion in 2024. It keeps its place as the 5th most valuable brand in the world for five consecutive years.
Since introducing its “New Environmental Management Strategy” in 2022, the company has been working closely with stakeholders to reach its sustainability goals. The most important topics discussed were Samsung’s plan to increase shareholder value.
In 2024, the company plans to pay a dividend of 9.8 trillion won and has also started a 10 trillion won share buyback program. Samsung has already completed the first part of this program by buying back 3 trillion won worth of shares and will continue with the next round.
Looking ahead, Han acknowledged that 2025 could be a challenging year due to economic uncertainties. He asked for shareholders’ continued support as Samsung explores new areas like robotics, healthcare, and AI.
The meeting also included voting on several important issues and featured displays of Samsung’s latest AI and technology innovations. It gives shareholders a chance to experience these exciting advancements firsthand.

Samsung revealed that the 9100 PRO SSD is up for purchase in the US, costing 1TB (MSRP: $199.99), 2TB (MSRP: $299.99), and 4TB (MSRP: $549.99) capacities.
On the other hand, the 9100 PRO with Heatsink is available in capacities including 1TB (MSRP: $219.99), 2TB (MSRP: $319.99), and 4TB (MSRP: $569.99).
Meanwhile, the 8TB models will be available in the second half of 2025. As the first Samsung NVMe SSD with up to 8TB of capacity, the 9100 PRO will let you access more storage than ever.
