Samsung optimizing Android 15-based One UI 7 on Galaxy M33
Along with the Beta testing on the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is also testing the One UI 7 based on Android 15 builds for several of its Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy M33. This build is currently being tested internally.
Samsung is preparing the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy M33 smartphone as a new build based on Android 15 has been spotted. A new build M336BUXXUBFA1 has appeared on the Checkfirm platform, indicating that the company is moving forward with One UI 7 testing for Galaxy smartphones.
The testing of One UI 7 is specifically happening for the Indian variants of the Galaxy M33, as indicated by the CSC code “INS” for Samsung India. This suggests that the update will first be tested in the Indian variant before a wider rollout.
Earlier, the Galaxy M33 had appeared on Geekbench with One UI 7, which shows the performance of the smartphone. The results showed impressive scores, with the phone achieving 939 in single-core and 1987 in multi-core tests. This indicates that the phone should perform well with the new software.
Samsung will release the stable One UI 7 update with the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025. After the update is available for the flagship Galaxy S25 series, Samsung will start releasing it for other Galaxy devices, first for flagship models. The update for the Galaxy M33 is expected to arrive by the end of February or March 2025. Stay tuned for more information.
