Galaxy A36 could outshine S25 flagship in this surprising way
Samsung Galaxy A36 smartphone is going to launch soon, along with the Galaxy A56 in the coming months. Several leaks have already started appearing, revealing the specs of these smartphones. Now, new information reveals that the Galaxy A36 will have faster wired charging than the Galaxy S25.
Just recently, the Samsung Galaxy A36 received an IECEE certificate, which reveals that the smartphone will feature 45W wired fast charging support. However, the upcoming Galaxy flagship smartphone, the standard Galaxy S25, will only support 25W charging.
The IECEE listing mentions 10V 4.5A support for the Galaxy A36 smartphone, hinting at the 45W charging support. This same charging support will also be available with the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 model smartphones.
Aside from this, the Samsung Galaxy A36 appeared on the official site with a model number indicating dual SIM support. It was also spotted on Geekbench, confirming its debut in the US.
The Galaxy A36 is expected to come with a 6.64-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is likely to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Moreover, the phone may have either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The phone could have 4x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and 4x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, along with an Adreno 710 GPU for better graphics performance. There might be two RAM options – 6GB or 8GB, along with 128GB and 256GB storage options.
