Samsung’s new Battery Icon in One UI 7 may be tweaked in future

One UI 7 Beta 3 update brought some changes to the battery icon, giving it a bulkier and more balanced appearance. The shape of the battery icon has been adjusted to make it a bit more heightened with rounded corners. This design is slightly different from the one introduced in the Beta 1 update.

While many users appreciate the updated icon, some have shared that they still don’t like the new design. Some users shared their feedback on the One UI 7 Beta forum, suggesting that Samsung should revamp the look of the battery icon.

In response to the feedback, a Samsung US Beta Moderator said that Samsung appreciates hearing different ideas and that all suggestions will be passed on to the team working on the changes for upcoming updates. He also mentioned that Samsung could bring improvements to the One UI 7 Battery icon in the future update.

Samsung is always aiming to provide a unique and distinct One UI experience, focusing on user feedback. However, it’s not clear when and what changes will come next, we can just wait for upcoming updates.

A recent report revealed that Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta 3 update could be the last beta update and the company is preparing a stable version for the Galaxy S24 series.
