Samsung devices will soon get HDR10+ on Disney+
Disney has recently announced a new feature coming to Samsung devices soon. The streaming service, Disney+, will soon add support for HDR10+, which will improve the video quality for Samsung phones, tablets, and TVs. Right now, Disney+ already features Dolby Vision and HDR10, but HDR10+ will bring even better picture quality to devices that support it.
HDR10+ is a technology that makes videos look better by improving colors, brightness, and details. It works by adjusting the picture frame-by-frame, so each scene looks as good as possible.
Dolby Vision is also popular for this but HDR10+ is a royalty-free standard. HDR10+ was developed in partnership with companies including Century Fox Samsung, Amazon, and Panasonic.
Several Samsung device users will be with the new addition of HDR10+ because Samsung devices don’t support Dolby Vision. If HDR10+ is available, it will give them a better viewing experience than just using regular HDR10.
Other streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Hulu, and YouTube already offer HDR10+ in limited content, but Disney+ will now bring even more of it to its platform.
However, Netflix does not support HDR10+ yet and only offers Dolby Vision and HDR10. Disney+ is making a great move by adding this feature, and it will help Samsung users get the best picture quality available.
