Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G’s performance boost and cooling innovations are tipped ahead of launch. The new flagship is all set to land in the market on January 22, with a release expected in the first week of next month.

Recently, AhmedQwaider revealed the performance and cooling tech upgrades of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The source also confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will power all the Galaxy S25 models in all countries.

Performance:

Snapdragon 8 Elite chip offers a significant performance boost to the S25 Ultra. The source claims a 38 percent increase in CPU performance, 34 percent in graphics (GPU), and a whopping 43 percent in NPU (Generative AI tasks).

This massive CPU upgrade is made possible by the application of Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU cores. The new Snapdragon also features enhanced graphics and neural processing solutions to improve both of these crucial aspects too.

Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is produced using TSMC’s 3nm process node. The reduced size of the chipset promises better performance and improved efficiency. However, there were concerns of overheating, which Samsung didn’t overlook.

Cooling innovations:

Samsung has enhanced the vapor chamber cooling solution on the S25 Ultra. The latest flagship has 42 percent better heat dissipation than the S24 Ultra. It will help the phone remain cool during excessive usage such as streaming or gaming.

Ahmed claims that the heat will be distributed throughout the S25 Ultra. It indicates an even larger vapor chamber plate on the device. This way, the potential overheating issues have been addressed to offer incredible and flawless performance.
