Samsung is speeding up the work on Galaxy S25 Slim as we approach the tentative unveiling of Galaxy S25 Series. In an exciting development, the Galaxy S25 Slim benchmarked with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB RAM.

It’s the first time the upcoming Samsung phone appeared on crucial platform. It solidified the model’s existence ahead of its potential release in near future.

Geekbench listed the SM-S937U, confirming the S25 Slim’s US debut plans. The phone might be produced in limited volume but highly likely to be sold in the US.

The Galaxy S25 Slim, featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB RAM, scored 3005 and 6945 points in Geekbench 6.3’s single core and multi core tests, respectively.

The performance scores are not much exciting and there’s a room for significant improvements. This aspect will improve further with software optimization to match the performance standards of the S25 Series.

Previously, it was revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim would use a 200-megapixel camera. Samsung is also rumored to be using its new ALoP camera tech with 3.5x Telephoto camera on the device.

The screen size is expected to be the same as the Galaxy S25 Plus. The thinness could be 6.60mm, which would be thicker than the Apple iPhone 17 Air’s rumored 6.25mm.

Samsung is holding the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. It will be an in-person event, taking place in San Jose, California. Everyone will be able to join the event livestream though offical Samsung channels.

The company is rumored to drop the first glimpse at many future products including the Galaxy S25 Slim, Galaxy Ring 2, Project Moohan and XR Smart Glasses.
