Samsung is gearing up to release the Android 15-based stable One UI 7.x with the Galaxy S25 series. So far, the beta version has only been available for the Galaxy S24 series. Now, a budget-friendly Samsung phone, the Galaxy M15, has recently been spotted running One UI 7 software.

The Galaxy M15 has been listed on Geekbench with Android 15 and One UI 7, which shows the phone’s performance. It suggests the Galaxy M15 will be one of the first low-cost Galaxy phones to receive this major update.

The phone performance scores in the tests are impressive. The Galaxy M15 has achieved 691 single-core and 1906 multi-core scores in One UI 7 tests. These numbers show Samsung’s efforts to enhance both the speed and efficiency of their devices with the next software.

Further, this benchmark is from internal testing builds and does not suggest the final performance of the smartphone. It offers a glimpse into what consumers can expect from Samsung’s next software for the Galaxy M15 smartphone.

Notably, this is not the first time Samsung has teased its future software performance through benchmark leaks. Earlier, Samsung smartphones including the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A73, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A55, Galaxy M33, Galaxy M34, Galaxy M53, Galaxy M54, and Galaxy M55, also appeared running on the new One UI 7 with distinct scores.

Samsung is going to release the stable One UI 7 version with the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025. In addition, the company is reportedly planning to release a stable version for the Galaxy S24 series too.

Once the stable update is available, Samsung will first release it for flagship devices. After that, the update will slowly be rolled out to other phones, including the Galaxy M15 and other M-series models.
