Galaxy S25 pre-reservation perks in Canada put US deals to shame
Samsung launched Galaxy S25 pre-reservation in various countries including the US, India, and Canada. While the Indian campaign requires a security deposit, it’s not the case in many other markets including the US and Canada.
Galaxy S25 pre-reservation unlocks additional perks ahead of pre-order that sharply differ across the US and Canada. Interestingly, the Canadian subsidiary is offering twice the US pre-reserve benefits, here’s a comparison.
Pre-reservation benefits – US vs Canada
US Offer:
Pre-reservation is free and you will get a $50 credit when you pre-order the new Galaxy. You can use this credit on additional Samsung products such as accessories or wearables.
There are certain restrictions that you must spend this credit during the pre-order process, or it gets canceled, and literally, it doesn’t reduce the cost of your Galaxy S25.

Canada Deal:
Registration to pre-reserve is the same as in the US but you receive a $100 e-voucher. It is twice what’s offered in the US and comes with way more less restrictions on usage.
Samsung confirmed this voucher can be applied directly to the price of the Galaxy S25, saving you money on the phone itself during the promotional period from January 22 to February 9.

What makes Canada deal worse than the US?
US pre-reservation registration is light in the US as you just need to fill in your name and email on the online sign-up form, with your phone number optional.
On the flip side, you’ll need to give up more personal details on the Canadian site such as your full name, email, phone number, and postal code, plus some insights into your current phone habits.
If you prefer straightforward savings on the Galaxy S25, Canada’s pre-order deal is hard to beat. So, choose wisely based on what matters most to you – savings or privacy.
