Is Samsung hiding a Galaxy S25 Slim in Unpacked teaser?
Samsung is working on a thinner Galaxy S25 model this year. The company is aiming to compete with Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air. Samsung officially released the first Unpacked teaser, which probably hints at a Galaxy S25 Slim surprise.
Galaxy S25 Slim with SM-S937B model number is in development. The unreleased Samsung phone hasn’t been spotted on certifications as the S25 series. It doesn’t point to cancellation but hints at a potential unveil in the second or third quarter.
Samsung’s Unpacked teaser showcases four corners of the upcoming Galaxy phones. Two of them showcase camera rims, that appear different from each other, while the other two views remain to be a mystery until January 22’s Unpacked.
The teaser may highlight two S25 models from the camera and bottom part angles. However, the appearance also links with a total of four models to be unveiled later this month as their appearance is different, not unified.
Samsung indeed has a Special Edition Galaxy S25 in its pipeline. The phone is said to be better than S25 Plus in terms of specs and design. The slimmer form factor would help it better compete against the Apple iPhone 17 Air.
The Galaxy S25 Slim would launch in limited quantities to help Samsung gauge the market. If the experiment goes as assumed, we may see design implementation in future Samsung flagships such as the Galaxy S26 series next year.
Samsung will reveal its product plans at the Unpacked later this month. The slimmer variant could be teased along with the S25 series launch. It would go on sale in certain markets in the second or third quarter of the year.
