One UI 7 new charging animations

Samsung is rolling out One UI 7 beta 3 with new charging animation improvements. However, this upgrade is graphical and does not affect any charging features at this time.

One UI 7 has introduced a new user interface and animations. These also impact the way a Galaxy device reacts to you upon plugging in a charger.

The variation in these animations makes them more intriguing. You will see a wide Now Bar like charging indicator on the lock screen.

On the other hand, the home screen will show a slide-out animation from the battery icon. It contains a “Charging” text on the left and an expansion to the battery icon, which retracts in two seconds.

One UI 7 Beta 3 has improved the unlocked mode charging animation by adding blue and cyan gradient colors. While previous it had green, which increases horizontally as the charging progresses.

Interestingly, the gradient color circles inside as soon as the charging animation expands out of the battery icon, which makes it look even better.

One minor tweak in the indicator is that the charging text, percentage, and power icon are more centralized and slightly increased in size compared to previous One UI 7 beta releases.

Meanwhile, no such changes are seen in the lock screen charging animations.
