One UI 7 Beta Quick settings Panel Left Side

Samsung One UI 7 comes with a separate quick settings panel and notification center and you can now switch their positions to open them either left or right side based on your preference.

This separation of both panels allows an extended user experience. The notification panel organizes all of the app and system services, which utilize generative AI, and separates them based on priority.

On the other hand, the quick settings panel has various options dedicated to this purpose only. New animations and the entire user interface are designed around quick access to key features.

By default, the notifications panel opens from the top left, and quick settings from the top right side via swipe gestures.

The One UI 7 beta 3 enables you to change the quick panel settings via the “Quick panel on the left side” slider. Once enabled, the default notifications and quick settings panel will switch places.

To be mentioned, the panel settings can also let you revert to the legacy mode and open unified quick settings. However, the legacy mode is disabled by default.
