One UI 7 Home screen settings

Samsung has released the One UI 7 beta 3 software update, which upgrades the home screen settings user interface with the prioritized app and widget style.

The existing home screen settings UI in the initial One UI 7 beta shows identical options to One UI 6. However, there was a new addition to this menu “App and widgets style”.

This distinctive capability helps you to increase or decrease the app icon size and lets you enable or disable app labels. Still, it required an extra tap on this particular menu to access the feature.

What’s changed

One UI 7 beta 3 amends the app and widget style with the main home screen customization page. Not only that, it puts these options on top of the screen so you can start with, the app and widget style right off the bat.

With this new change, Samsung has slipped the home screen layout and other options to the second spot. You have to scroll down to see all available options to customize your phone’s home screen.

The One UI 7 beta 3 is available for Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones and rolling out in batches. It is possible that future beta releases may make future changes until the software achieves stability.
