Samsung announced Home Up is one of the most changed Good Lock apps in One UI 7. Samsung has recently detailed many new features that are coming to the Good Lock’s Home Up app in the major One UI 7 upgrade.
As there are many changes in the app, the development and optimization are still underway. Well, we don’t need to wait much as Samsung confirmed that the app would become fully functional within January itself.
Here are the top features and changes:
One UI Home Integration
With the One UI 7 Home Up, Samsung has made things a lot easier for customizing the home screen. Now, with the One UI Home interface, you can tweak features from the Home Up module.
You can change how your home screen looks or behaves right from where you are. It’s like having all the customization tools at your fingertips without the extra steps!
No Grid Restrictions
The upgraded Home Up brings limitless grid customization to the home screen. You’re not stuck with the usual grid anymore; instead, you can move icons, widgets, or any item to any spot you like.
One UI Home has certain grid styles, but the new update gives you the freedom to design your home screen layout exactly how you want it, making your phone feel more like your own space.
Home screen stickers
You can decorate your home screen with stickers to suit your preferences.
Animation Tuning
Samsung’s latest Home Up is bringing an animation tuner feature for Galaxy gestures.
Speed Control: You can make animations faster or slower.
Style Selection: Pick from styles reminiscent of iPhone or Google Pixel animations.
Gesture Animation Tuning: Customize how your phone reacts to your swipes, pinches, or taps.
Multi-Finger Gestures: Not only can you tune single-finger gestures, but you can also set up animations for when you use more than one finger, adding a new layer of personal interaction.
Transparency and Effects: Some options might let you tweak the transparency of animations or add effects like blur for a more immersive experience.
Hide favorites, custom folders, and more
Hide favorites: You can hide favorites to make your home screen cleaner and more spacious.
Custom folders and free placement of Apps button: You can customize popup folder sizes and icons, and freely arrange the Apps button.
Edge panel customization: New customization features for the Edge panel, such as showing more items and scrolling through recent apps, have been added.
Taskbar customization (Fold/Tablet): You can change the order of app icons in the taskbar and add new ones.
