Galaxy S24 Ultra beats S23 Ultra sales, soars to 15.8 million

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is selling well compared to its predecessor. Research data from Hana Securities (via Jukanlosreve) suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra has surpassed the Galaxy S23 Ultra sales by a 16.5% margin.

All in all, the S24 series has exceeded the S23 series, in sales figures over the past 11 months. The company managed to sell a staggering 34.66 million units of the Galaxy S24 lineup – an 18% increase over the previous generation.

Here’s a breakdown:

  • Galaxy S24: 12.1 million sold (more than the S23 Base’s 10.46 million)
  • Galaxy S24 Plus: 6.77 million sold (more than the S23 Plus’s 5.39 million)
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra: 15.8 million sold (more than the S23 Ultra’s 13.56 million)

Galaxy S24

The base Galaxy S24 model didn’t disappoint Samsung, moving 12.1 million units. This is up from the 10.46 million units of the Galaxy S23 Base, showing a 16% growth in sales in an 11 months period till November 2024.

Galaxy S24+

The S24 Plus has also made a strong impression, with 6.77 million units finding homes. That’s a significant jump from the 5.39 million units of the Galaxy S23 Plus sold previously, marking an impressive 25.7% increase.

Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung’s S24 Ultra has soared past expectations, selling a whopping 15.8 million units. This is quite the leap from the 13.56 million units Galaxy S23 Ultra managed to sell in the same timeframe.

Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung is aiming to manufacture 37.4 million units of the Galaxy S25 series. In particular, the S25 Ultra would be produced in 16 million units. Meanwhile, the S25 and S25 Plus would be produced in 14.8 million and 6.6 million units.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled on January 22 in the US. The phone would start shipping to pre-order consumers starting February 7. Samsung may also tease the XR headset, smart glasses, Ring 2, and S25 Slim at the Unpacked.
