Samsung One UI 7 Software Update UI

Samsung confirmed the One UI 7.0 Good Lock will be available in all countries. The company has also teased a massive upgrade to the One UI Home (System Launcher) that will integrate One UI 7 Home Up features.

One UI Home will let you access One UI 7 Home Up features. The system launcher will incorporate the functions the same way the Samsung Camera did with Expert RAW. You will not need to access Good Lock and then Home Up.

It’s a move aimed at streamlining the user experience in One UI 7. With the addition of Home Up, Samsung’s system launcher will make customization easier than ever and the newly added features will unlock unique experiences.

“You can now intuitively set Home Up features directly from One UI Home without opening the Home Up app.” – Samsung confirmed via community moderator.

Samsung’s community moderator also confirmed that Home Up will allow you to freely arrange items on the home screen without grid limitations. The home screen will also add support for stickers to suit your preferences.

Animation Tuning:

As teased earlier, the Home Up is gaining support for animation tweaks. One UI 7 update will make it capable of allowing you to freely tune the gesture animations to your liking and use multi-finger gestures anywhere on the screen.

Other features include hiding favorites to make your home screen cleaner and more spacious, customizing popup folder sizes and icons, and new customization features for the Edge panel such as showing more items through Recents.
