Preview: Samsung’s latest One UI 7 Beta is blazing fast

Samsung’s latest One UI 7 Beta will offer nearly perfect animations. While we await the third Beta’s rollout, a Samsung insider revealed the blazing-fast unlock animation from the upcoming One UI 7 Beta version.

One UI 7 Beta 3 is still being polished and the preview reveals its promising blazing fast speed. Leaker IceUniverse posted a video on X, showcasing the unlock transition that is quite fast and more reliable than the current state.

The iPhone-like Always On Display is a noteworthy addition and the unlocking experience is on another level. The fingerprint recognition functionality has improved significantly, offering an extremely fast transition.

Recently, the source revealed newly added sound effects in the third Beta. The new effects are added to lock, unlock, and charge functions. The sound is crispy and clear, while every Galaxy user may not like the renewed effects.

The One UI 7 Beta is expected to be rolled out in the next few days. A rumor promised release at the end of December or the beginning of January. As the December release is missed, all eyes are on the next four days when we will get Beta 3.

Samsung may unveil the One UI 7 update rollout schedule on January 22. The final version is set to go official at the Galaxy S25 series’ launch event. We assume that the public distribution may be kicked off by mid-February 2025.
