Samsung insider leaked new lock, unlock, and charge sounds of the One UI 7 Beta 3. The One UI Beta team is still working to optimize the software before release. However, the latest leak gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming changes.

One UI 7 Beta 1 introduced a radical design revamp across the UI. With the Beta 2, Samsung has applied a handful of user interface tweaks. The next Beta, i.e. Beta 3, is slated to improve the functioning of core components.

IceUniverse revealed the newly added sounds in One UI 7 Beta 3. The new tunes will be noticed when you lock and unlock the phone as well as start charging. Listen to the sounds: lock screen, unlock, and charge, respectively:

There are mixed opinions from Samsung consumers over the new sounds. Some praised the potential sound effects, while some liked it partially. Some also prefer keeping the existing sounds that are pleasing and elegant enough.

Samsung is also working to deploy brand-new haptics in several functions. Earlier, the company’s moderator acknowledged suggestions raised by Beta participants. The next Beta update is expected to take the haptics experience to a whole new level.

These changes are making the One UI 7, Samsung’s biggest update yet. The level and scale of changes don’t leave it just an update, but it’s an upgrade. From UI and features to sounds and haptics, the One UI 7 is heavily upgraded.

One UI 7 may start to be released by mid-February 2025.
