Samsung One UI 7 brings Global access to Good Lock via Play Store
Samsung is finally making Good Lock a Global affair with One UI 7. The company officially announced (through a community moderator) that the fan-favorite One UI customization tool will be available in all countries.
Good Lock is a great tool if you want to tweak various aspects of the software. It contains over a dozen modules and plugins that allow you to play with the OS. It’s also used to unlock experimental tools that the OS restricts.
Over the years, the South Korean tech giant has gradually expanded Good Lock’s reach. It is available in the US, India, and select European countries. Despite the usability, Samsung kept it limited to a few dozen countries.
The moderator also shared key changes of One UI 7 Good Lock. The app will have a redesigned user interface that is better and easier to use. It has around 23 plugins and Samsung has focussed on streamlining the accessibility across the app.
- You can easily find the features and apps you need, as well as related posts, through the Search/Filter feature.
- The newly added My Page tab allows you to reset settings, add Good Lock widgets, and conveniently manage the Good Lock features you use.
One UI 7 will also mark the global debut of Good Lock on the Google Play Store, however, it will also be available on Samsung Galaxy Store. It’s one of the biggest New Year surprises that Samsung announced for Galaxy fans.
Samsung has been working to launch Good Lock on the Play Store for over 8 months. Back in May, some users spotted the app on the Play Store, which was later taken down. The company officially revealed plans to expand Good Lock in June 2024.
