Samsung Introduces AI-Powered ‘Galaxy Book 5 Pro’ in Korea
Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Book 5 Pro in Korea on January 2, 2025. This new laptop brings a fresh AI-powered experience to help users work more efficiently. The Galaxy Book 5 Pro features Galaxy AI to perform tasks like communication, content creation, and data searching easier and faster.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro is powered by the Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (Luna Lake), with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that can perform up to 47 trillion operations per second. This makes the laptop run smoothly when using AI features.
Moreover, it also introduces the AI Select function to allow users to find images or text they are looking for quickly. In addition, the device will support Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC feature in future updates.
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro comes in two sizes – 16-inch and 14-inch. It is available in gray and silver colors. Prices start at 1,768,000 won, with the 16-inch version priced at 2,458,000 won, which is 132,000 won cheaper than the previous Galaxy Book 4 Pro with similar specifications.
Samsung is also offering the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 in stores and online starting January 2, which was previously only available online.
For a limited time, customers who buy the Galaxy Book 5 Series between January 2 and 16 will receive MS Office Home 2024 for free. Additional benefits include discounts on Galaxy Buds 3 and special items like Starbucks laptop pouches.
Samsung is also running the ‘Replace with AI’ program, where customers can get up to 300,000 won in extra compensation when they trade in their old laptops or tablets to buy new devices.
