Samsung Galaxy smartphone users have been facing an annoying problem for a while now – duplicate notifications. This issue has been bothering users on various apps and features, causing unnecessary interruptions.

Back in October 2024, a Samsung community moderator acknowledged the issue and promised that a fix would be released soon through a software update. However, as we move into January 2025, the problem is still around, and many users are still facing it.

Recently, a user reported an issue related to duplicate notifications. This issue has been noticed with the NotiStar app, where people are receiving two alarm notifications for the same alarm. This causes frustration for those who rely on alarms to keep track of their time.

In response to these complaints, a Samsung Good Lock moderator has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the duplicate notifications. He has also mentioned that the team is working on the problem and will try to fix it in a future NotiStar update. However, there was no clear timeline shared for when the fix will be available.

Samsung has not shared more information on the progress of the fix, leaving users waiting for updates. Until then, Galaxy users can turn off the NotiStar functions. Stay tuned for more information.
