One UI 7 to bring major upgrades to Home Up and LockStar modules
Several Samsung Good Lock modules are already compatible with the One UI 7 beta update, while others are still undergoing testing for full support. Samsung has recently shared more details about the schedule for Good Lock on One UI 7. With the stable One UI 7 update, the Home Up and LockStar modules will receive major changes and new features.
In the One UI 7.0 beta software, 15 Good Lock apps will be available. Seven apps including LockStar, Home Up, NavStar, NotiStar, QuickStar, MultiStar, and Clockface are closely linked to the system and scheduled for updates. These apps are expected to become available starting at the end of December, with MultiStar being the first to launch.
However, some modules including Home Up and LockStar take longer to reach users. These apps are undergoing extensive internal testing due to the introduction of significant new features and structural changes.
Samsung is working regularly to make Home Up and LockStar features for One UI 7 devices. Notably, the company also ensures that these two modules are available at the same time as the stable One UI 7.0 release, but there may be a slight delay.
The Home Up module allows users to customize their home screen layout and app grid and it will receive major improvements with One UI 7. Meanwhile, LockStar will bring enhanced personalization options for the lock screen. Both of these modules are highly anticipated with new features that will expand customization capabilities for users.
While Home Up and LockStar are being tested thoroughly, Samsung reassures users that it is working to make the modules available as soon as possible. The company will soon make all Good Lock modules ready for the stable One UI 7.0 update.
