Now Bar is a stunning functionality in One UI 7 and it would adopt Gemini Live controls too. Samsung is developing the latest version of One UI, slated to be unveiled next month and rolled out over the first quarter of next year.

Samsung’s Now Bar could adopt call-like Gemini Live controls in One UI 7. As spotted by AndroidAuthority, Google may bring the new Gemini Live controls to the Now Bar of Samsung’s One UI 7 software system.

Google App’s version 15.52.37.sa.arm64 reveals a sneak peek at the advancements.

The Gemini Live functionality may get a new notification interface with phone-call-style controls, including “hang up” and “hold” buttons and Google may want to offer a similar Gemini Live interface for One UI 7’s Now Bar.

The Pixel maker has been developing an alternative notification interface for Gemini Live. It brings call-like controls, which would be available on Samsung’s new system of lock screen widgets that already support various Google apps.

One UI 7 is still in the Beta phase and the Stable rollout is expected in February. We may hear about the collaboration at the Unpacked event. These advancements may debut in the Galaxy S25 series and later expand to older Pixel and Galaxy phones.

At present, the Now Bar and Gemini Live integration is hidden behind Google App’s code and strings. Preparations are underway and the feature will be launched in the future once the testing phase concludes after development.

Now Bar is a quite useful addition to Samsung phones. It stuns the lock screen with an intelligent widget system that is powered by Galaxy AI. You get real-time notifications and relevant recommendations through artificial intelligence.
