Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra spotted with bold performance scores. This time, Samsung’s SM-S9380 has appeared, which belongs to the Chinese market. Notably, the phone equipped the same chipset as the US variant.

In the latest test, the Galaxy S25 Ultra performance reached 3049 and 9793 points on Geekbench. The device was packed with Snapdragon 8 Elite (overclocked variant), pairing 12GB of RAM being the base variant.

It’s the latest Geekbench listing for the S25 Ultra, suggesting that the optimization is still underway. In a listing that surfaced two months back, the multi-core score exceeded the whopping 10000 mark, setting new standards of performance.

Meanwhile, the Chinese variant lags behind in single and multi-core tests. However, these scores (multi-core) are particularly better than the ones that appeared with the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for the European market.

Geekbench also revealed that the S25 Ultra will boot Android 15 pre-installed. The device would debut the new One UI 7.1 iteration, powered by the latest OS. New Galaxy AI features will also be included in the latest One UI version.

Snapdragon 8 Elite is manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process. The manufacturing costs are significantly higher than the 4nm chips. However, Samsung is said to have frozen price hikes on the upcoming devices in Europe and the US.

Recent rumors point to the January 22 debut of the Galaxy S25 series. It will be an in-person event with the venue likely to be San Jose. Samsung would also tease the Galaxy S25 Slim, Galaxy Ring 2, XR Headset, and Smart Glasses.
