Samsung galaxy A53 One UI 7 testing

Following several Galaxy devices, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G running Android 15-based One UI 7 has been spotted on Geekbench. It provides a glimpse into the device’s performance on the upcoming software.

This Geekbench listing confirms that Samsung’s 2022-launched Galaxy A53 smartphone will soon receive the One UI 7 update with new features and improvements.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A53 5G running One UI 7 has scored 952 points in the single-core test and 1966 points in the multi-core test. While these scores show promising performance, they are not as high as those of flagship devices.

The specific build version of the device shown is A536USQUDFXL3. This build indicates that Samsung is working on the official stable version of One UI 7 for the US model of the Galaxy A53 smartphone.

Notably, the Galaxy A53 5G will not take part in the One UI 7 beta testing as Samsung might not expand the Beta Program for older Galaxy devices. Instead, the device will receive the stable version of the update directly.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G users won’t need to test the software in beta, but will get the final version when it is ready. So far, the Galaxy S24 series has been the only one to receive the beta updates, with the official stable version of One UI 7 to roll out with the Galaxy S25 series. Stay tuned.
