Avoiding One UI 7 Beta? Samsung sends last 2024 update for Galaxy S24 in India
December is about to end and Samsung is rolling out the last update of 2024 for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones in India. This update is only available for the Galaxy S24 series for those who are not testing One UI 7 Beta.
The fresh update improves system security and stability to provide a better experience. In addition, the update fixes issues encountered in previous software to make the device more secure and reliable.
December 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in India can be identified via the One UI build version S921BXXS4AXKA, S926BXXS4AXKA, and S928BXXS4AXKA respectively. The installation package size of this update is around 450MB.
December 2024 security patch fixes over 45 vulnerabilities, 6 critical and 28 high-level fixes from Google. Additionally, one previously resolved issue has been readdressed, and another is not relevant to Samsung devices. On the Samsung side, 2 high-level vulnerabilities in its semiconductor products have been patched.
Moreover, the update also includes 8 fixes listed under Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), focusing on the Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth functionality, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features and make your device ready for the next updates.
Samsung is currently preparing to release the One UI 7 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy S24 series. However, the company seems to release One UI 7.1 software with the Galaxy S25 series.
