Here’s when Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may go on sale in 2025
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is in development but you may not be able to buy it after the Unpacked 2025 event. The company is working on a thinner variant of the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be teased at the January Unpacked event.
AndroidAuthority found evidence of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in the latest One UI 7 Beta. The latest version includes model numbers of upcoming Galaxy phones including the S25 (SM-S931), S25+ (SM-S936), and S25 Ultra (SM-S938).
Samsung SM-S937 is also in the pipeline which is supposed to be marketed as the Galaxy S25 SE or S25 Slim in 2025. The latest One UI 7 Beta lacks clues of the S25 Slim (SM-S937), but it doesn’t mean the device is not launching or canceled.
This development indicates that the Unpacked may only bring the Galaxy S25 series in full-fledged. The company may tease some of the upcoming products at the event such as XR Headset (Project Moohan), Smart Glasses and S25 Slim.
Previously, the S25 Slim as SM-S937 was spotted in IMEI GSM database. The listing confirmed an additional model’s existence. Previous rumors also reveal that the S25 Slim may only be teased alongside the Galaxy S25 series launch.
Samsung will likely launch the thinner S25 before the iPhone 17 Air. Rumors suggest a Q2 2024 release timeframe for this exclusive model. This makes sense as the second dry quarter will be filled with a meaningful launch.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to be thinner between 6mm to 7mm. It could feature a new 3.5x Telephoto camera and a 200MP primary camera. Ultrawide sensor similar to the vanilla S25 is also expected to be included on board.
