Samsung One UI 7 Good Lock to be fully functional in January 2025

Samsung is working hard to make Good Lock fully functional in One UI 7 by January 2025. The company has recently issued a notice within the Good Lock app, suggesting the progress has reached a nice 70% mark (via FamilyTaes).

The notice reveals that many Samsung Good Lock apps and plugins are still accessible in the One UI 7 Beta. The supported apps include One Hand Operation +, RegiStar, Nice Shot, Wonderland, Theme Park, Routine+, Sound Assistant, Camera Assistant, Keys Cafe, Pentastic, Edge Touch, Edge Lighting+, Nice Catch, Dropship, and Galaxy to Share.

The remaining Good Lock apps and plugins are expected to gain support for the One UI 7 software in January 2025. At present, the team is working to optimize LockStar, Home Up, NavStar, NotiStar, QuickStar, MultiStar, and ClockFace.

This year, things are quite well with Samsung’s Good Lock development. In the past, we’ve seen almost every plugin or app was unavailable in Beta firmware. The company announced an upgraded Good Lock with x.1 iteration.

Samsung is also developing a new Game Booster Plus plugin within the Good Lock. This new app is expected to be introduced with the Stable One UI 7 update with new features: namely Gamepad Key Remapping, GPU Detailed Settings, and Game Category Changes.

The Galaxy S25 series will be introduced on January 22 next year. At the Unpacked, Samsung will share the latest Good Lock advancements. You can expect the general availability of these new features by the mid-February period.
