Samsung One UI 7 Beta teases Galaxy Z Flip 7, Fold 7 and Fold SE 2
A new One UI 7 beta leak reveals some exciting details about Samsung’s foldable smartphones for 2025. This One UI 7 leak includes model numbers for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and a new version of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (Fold SE 2). It also confirms that Samsung will continue making foldable smartphones.
The model numbers of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold devices have been spotted by Assemble Debug (via Android Authority). The model numbers leaked in the One UI 7 beta are SM-F751, SM-F966, and SM-F968, which are expected to belong to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Fold SE 2.
Usually, Samsung increases the model numbers by 10 each year, which suggests these devices will be launched in 2025. However, their official names haven’t been confirmed yet.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 (SM-F751) and Galaxy Z Fold 7 (SM-F966) will likely be the enhanced version of their predecessors, offering improvements, fresh design, and new features.
While the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition 2 (SM-F968) could be a premium version of the previous Special Edition model. Currently, it’s still unclear if Samsung will keep the “Special Edition” name for the device or choose a new one.
Aside from the new models’ appearance, two devices are missing from the list, the rumored Galaxy Z Flip FE and the Galaxy S25 Slim. These devices have been expected to launch in 2025, but their absence from the list raises questions about whether they will be released later or under different names.
As we get closer to 2025, more details about these new models are likely to appear. Samsung will probably make its foldables more competitive with other devices as 2024’s foldables are among best sellers.
