Samsung Health tracks your sleep like never before [Video]
In the latest episode of self-review, Samsung highlights its Health app’s advanced sleep-tracking features with a detailed look at users’ sleep patterns. This feature is available through the Galaxy Watch or Ring and monitors various aspects of sleep.
It is similar to the concept in the 1997 horror film “I Know What You Did Last Summer”. Just as the characters in the movie are unaware of what happened, Samsung Health reveals insights about your sleep that you might not even know.
When users wear a Galaxy Watch or Ring while sleeping, Samsung Health begins to collect important data about their rest. The app tracks how long a person sleeps, how often they wake up during the night, and whether they are too hot or cold.
Moreover, it also detects if the user is snoring and monitors their heart rate while they sleep. All of this information is then used to generate a sleep score that makes it easy to understand how well they are resting.
The sleep score provides an overall view of sleep quality to help users see if they are getting the restful sleep they need. Samsung Health’s sleep tracking feature is very simple and user-friendly. With just a few taps, users can access detailed information about their sleep.
