Leak: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to feature next-gen anti-glare screen
Anti-reflective display technology is one of the most amazing features of the S24 Ultra. As we await the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung has just tipped to be using a more powerful second-generation anti-glare screen.
According to IceUniverse, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be equipped with a second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor anti-glare screen. The leaker claims that the new version is more powerful than the one used in the S24 Ultra.
Samsung and Corning collaborated to design Gorilla Armor for Galaxy smartphones. The first generation screen debuted with S24 Ultra earlier this year. The companies are expected to expand their innovative collaboration further.

- It is up to three times more durable.
- It reduces reflectance by up to 75% compared to a typical glass surface.
- In Corning’s Scratch Bot, Gorilla Armor showed no visible scratches; demonstrating over four times more scratch resistance than aluminosilicate cover glasses.
The first-gen Gorilla Armor showed meaningful improvements over the conventional solutions. The second-gen glass is expected to take the experience to another level, bringing better durability as well as glare and scratch resistance.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to use enhanced OLED with M13 Plus material set. As part of freezing price, Samsung seemingly skipped the OLED upgrade to the most advanced M14 material set that the latest Pixels and iPhones use.
Well, the new glass technology will offer an elevated screen viewing experience. Such a solution is not featured on either Pixel 9 or iPhone 16. Samsung’s all set to leave Google and Apple in the dust with true user-centric innovations.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will exclusively use the more powerful second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor Glass with anti-reflective properties.
