Samsung One UI 7 Camera continuity feature

Samsung has opened One UI 7 Beta Program for Galaxy S24 series in limited countries and the company is working to expand it to more Galaxy models. One UI 7 update is bringing new features called Camera Continuity that will make it easier to switch between your Galaxy phone, tablet, and PC.

One UI 7 Camera Continuity feature allows you to take photos or scan documents on your Galaxy phone and instantly continue working on them on other devices like a Galaxy Book PC or Galaxy tablet. This feature works within Samsung Notes and Internet Apps to make your workflow more seamless.

To use the camera continuity feature, all your devices need to be signed into the same Samsung account, connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and within Bluetooth range of each other.

This feature is currently available in the One UI 7 beta but isn’t fully live yet. It is currently only spotted by Mishaal Rahman (via Android Authority) on Galaxy S24 smartphones but not on other devices like Galaxy Book 5 Pro or Galaxy Tab S10 series.

Once it’s ready, you can easily transfer content between devices in a few steps. Right now, Samsung Notes lets you sync photos across devices, but camera continuity will do this automatically to save time.

One UI 7 update also improves the feature called “continue on other devices”. This feature lets you pick up right where you left off when switching between your phone, tablet, or PC. In addition to working with Samsung Notes and Internet, it will now also sync your saved Wi-Fi networks between devices. While this isn’t a completely new feature, the changes make it even more useful.

With the One UI 7 update, Samsung aims to provide a next-level experience to Galaxy device users. At the moment, the company is preparing to release the One UI 7 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy S24 series. It is also expected that the company will expand the One UI 7 beta update to more Galaxy devices along with the Beta 3. Stay tuned.
