Samsung officially launched the One UI 7 Beta Program earlier this month. A new rumor indicates that the company has no plans to expand the One UI 7 Beta to older flagship phones including the Galaxy S23 and S22 series.

FamilyTaes claims that Samsung could not release the One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S23 series, S22 series, S21 series, and A series phones. The late launch of the Beta Program and Galaxy S25 unveiling in January are to be blamed.

The leaker also revealed that the One UI 7 Beta 3 could be rolled out next week. The release date might be between December 30 and January 6. Besides, the Galaxy S24 series may get the Beta 4 and Beta 5 update too in January 2025.

What next?

If the rumor is accurate, Samsung may not expand the One UI 7 Beta to older Galaxy devices. In that case, you may need to wait further to get your hands on the latest enhancements.

December is almost over and January will be a busy month due to the Galaxy S25 series. Hence, the Beta Program may not be expanded to older devices like the Galaxy S23 and S22 series.

January 22 is the date rumored for the Galaxy Unpacked event. The same day will mark the official debut of the most anticipated unveiling of the One UI 7 software.

Samsung may share the One UI 7 roadmap at January 2025 Unpacked. Accordingly, eligible Galaxy phones (including S23, S22, and S21) should start getting the Stable update in February.
