Samsung Home Heat Pump EHS to make US debut at CES 2025
Samsung is set to introduce its “Home Heat Pump EHS” at CES 2025, targeting the US HVAC market. The company today announced that it will unveil its “Home Heat Pump EHS” product at CES in Las Vegas next month.
It’s worth mentioning that the Korean tech giant is already selling the “Home Heat Pump EHS” product in over 40 countries in Europe. Now, Samsung is planning to expand its Home Heat Pump EHS into the US through the CES 2025 unveiling.
Samsung will launch the EHS solutions in the US in two indoor units: the “Climate Hub Mono,” which features a 200L water tank, and the compact-sized wall-mounted “Hydro Unit Mono,” as well as one outdoor unit, the “Mono R32 HT Quiet.”
The two indoor units feature a luxurious yet minimal design with a slim 600mm depth. However, the features and performance aspects of the EHS may change during mass production and the release process in the US.
FYI, EHS is used for underfloor heating and hot water supply in residential and commercial buildings. It is more efficient and produces less carbon than boilers that use fossil fuels by utilizing air heat and electricity to generate hot water.
The two indoor units are described by the inclusion of the “AI Home” feature based on a 7-inch touchscreen. Through “AI Home,” users can intuitively check and control product functions, as well as control connected devices in the home.
The “3D Map View” allows users to set indoor temperatures, and if using photovoltaic (PV) solar power, connecting the PV module to SmartThings allows for easy monitoring of solar energy usage.
