Samsung confirms One UI 7 Beta 3: Not today, but soon!

Samsung stated through the One UI Beta Team, putting an end to rumors circulating online regarding the One UI 7 Beta 3 release date. The company confirmed there’s no release date finalized for the third Beta rollout.

The matter started with confirmation from Samsung Support in India. When asked about the availability of the Beta Program (Beta 2 for Wave I countries), the company’s support staff was spreading a fake rollout roadmap.

  • One UI 7 Beta 3 on Monday, December 23
  • One UI 7 Beta 4 on Monday, December 30

Given the company’s major shuffles, it was speculated that a new One UI 7 Beta build may be rolled out every Monday till the program runs. However, there was no new Beta update kicked off by Samsung yesterday.

Beta participants in the US filled the community with questions on the release date. Samsung acknowledged the matter and officially stated through the moderator that the One UI 7 Beta 3 is not yet scheduled for public release.

The mod’s “we are still working on the finalization of the software” highlights that the work on Beta 3 is still underway. The software will take more time to be tested internally before being distributed to general users.

With the first Beta, Samsung deployed a brand-new design philosophy and new features. Beta 2 marked a major upgrade in elevating user experience. Now, the Beta members are awaiting the Beta 3 which should bring a more streamlined experience.

Samsung took about two weeks to relate the Beta 2 update in Wave I markets. If that timespan is repeated, owners of the Galaxy S24 series may receive the third Beta update of the One UI 7 software by the end of the year.
