One UI 7 introduces Samsung’s most heavily customizable lock screen with new clock styles. The lock screen is the first door to our mobile phones. Every time we pull the device out of the pocket, the lock screen triggers to require authentication.
The crucial user interface has sequentially become cool stuff on mobile phones. Smartphone makers bring modern design and stylish clocks for the lock screen. Among them, Samsung offers one of the most striking lock screen personalization.

With the One UI 7.0 update, Samsung included a set of new clock styles. The unique design of these clock styles can also be tweaked with different colors and sizes.

Modern fonts
One UI 7 has many modern lock screen clock styles to choose from. One of the key highlighting styles features a modern, sans-serif font with a unique design where the numbers are stylized with lines and curves.

Image 1 shows full-time (HH : MM) in a single line, while the HH and MM differentiate from linear to shift the MM below to the HH, creating a new unique design.

The clock-style personalization scale can be better described with the images attached below. Reducing the clock size further also renders two new styles for the same font on the lock screen.
Image 1 keeps the time font above the day and date entry. Image 2 shows all the time, day, and date elements in a single line, vacating most of the space on the lock screen for other stuff.

The new software also adds a brand new toggle entitled “Show date above the clock.” When enabled, the date will always appear above the clock displaying the time to match your preference.
Font Style
Font style is also available in One UI 7’s lock screen section. By default, the font style is set by the operating system, but you always have the option to pick Roboto or another from downloadable.
Picking different fonts would result in a less appealing experience as the clock styles come with their respective font selection to maintain the visual aesthetics of the entire design philosophy.

The software is already under development for several eligible Galaxy phones. The Beta Program is also live but for the Galaxy S24 series in select countries. Samsung will release the One UI 7 update in the first quarter of the next year.
