Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim to have a surprising unveiling next month
Samsung could introduce the Galaxy S25 Slim model next month. A new report recently shed light on the launch and pre-order details of the Galaxy S25 series. However, the Slim phone’s general availability remains to be known.
According to the report, Samsung may unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim at Unpacked next month. It comes as surprising news as we haven’t heard much about the device. Rumors suggest a Q2 2025 release for the thinner S25 model.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is said to be lighter and thinner than the Galaxy S25. The Korena tech giant may drop the first look at this upcoming device next month, with January 22 expected to be the date for Galaxy S25’s Unpacked event.
This move aligns with market trends desiring lighter and thinner phones. Earlier, the company launched the Galaxy Z Fold SE, which brings a thinner and lighter design than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but is available in just China and Korea.
Apple is also preparing to debut the iPhone 17 Air in late 2025. The thinner iPhone could replace the iPhone 17 Plus, bringing a thickness of between 5mm and 6mm. The S25 Slim, meanwhile, is rumored to be thinner than 7mm.
Samsung is expected to equip Galaxy S25 Slim with a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, above 4700mAh battery, 200-megapixel primary and 3.5x telephoto camera, sleek modern design, and exclusive Galaxy AI features.
S25 Slim has been in rumors for the past few months but no evidence surfaced hinting at imminent launch. Therefore, the unveiling can be anticipated in January 2025, with the launch taking place in the second quarter before the iPhone 17 Air launch.
