Samsung has entered a crucial phase ahead of the Galaxy S25 series unveiling. A new report indicates that Samsung has finalized the Galaxy S25 series release date for February 7, after launch on January 22, 2025.
Per FNNews, Samsung has set the release date for the Galaxy S25 series for February 7, 2025. The company will unveil the devices at Galaxy Unpacked on January 22 in the US.
The report reveals that the company plans to run pre-orders from January 24 to February 3, followed by early access for pre-order customers starting February 4.
Samsung may officially debut the new S25 lineup on February 7 in South Korea. Compared to the Galaxy S24 series release, the S25 availability is about a week later.
Here’s what is possible
- The unveiling of the Galaxy S25 series will take place at the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event on January 22 in San Jose, USA.
- Pre-orders for the devices are scheduled to open from January 24 through February 3.
- Early access for pre-order customers will begin on February 4.
- The full release of the Galaxy S25 series in Korea is set for the official launch date, February 7, 2025.
The Korean tech giant aims to expand its premium smartphone market share with the Galaxy S25 series, which comes with enhanced AI features, design tweaks, and upgraded specs.
Snapdragon 8 Elite across the S25 family is nearly confirmed. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also getting a larger RAM configuration with its 512GB and 1TB storage variants.
Price increase in Korea?
Given the political chaos in Korea, the won-dollar exchange rate exceeded 1,450 won. This would lead to a slight price increase across the S25 models in Samsung’s home ground.
In addition, the cancellation of Exynos 2500 is set to affect Samsung’s profits as all models will likely use Snapdragon 8 Elite which is fabricated using TSMC’s pricey 3nm process node.
